Other Coastal ActivitiesReview of the North West Bathing Water 17-06-2003 The Environment Agency submitted a bid for funding under the INTERREG stream to undertake a review of Bathing Waters in the North West. This was submitted in January 2003. If the bid is successful it is anticipated that work could start in the next 12 months to undertake site assessments, risk analysis, cost benefit work and consultation. The culmination of the work would be to make re-designation recommendations to DEFRA.
