Final Programme - Coastal Engineering Solutions
12-03-2010

Coastal Engineering Solutions - 24 & 25 March

Final programme now available from this link

Book now - there are still some spaces left at the North West Coastal Forum's FREE 2 day conference: 'Coastal Engineering Solutions' running from 24th to 25th March 2010 at the Blackpool Hilton.

This conference focusses on the social economic and environmental benefits good schemes can bring and will be of interest to people from across the spectrum of coastal management.

We will explore good practice case studies of both hard and soft coastal engineering from the North West and elsewhere. We will also look at how coastal management decisions can be aided by development of a strong evidence base and the interface between coastline management and planning.

The conference, organised with the help of North West and North Wales Coastal Group and sponsored by Birse Coastal, will include an opportunity to visit the multi-award winning coastal defence scheme at Cleveleys on the afternoon of the second day.
